A NEW application on Colchester High Street has been approved which could see a new restaurant open in the city centre.
Plans have been signed off by Colchester Council for changes to be made to the premises which formerly housed Optical Revolution.
The proposed use of the building is as a restaurant, which would involve some changes to the internal layout of the building, but that aside, proposals suggest no major redevelopment will be necessary.
The application was formally approved last month, and signed off by Karen Syrett, the council's lead officer for planning, housing, and economic growth.
Other details of the application include the name of the applicant, Kaysor Ali, and the address of the former Optical Revolution store, which is 56 High Street, Colchester.
