VISITORS to a new ‘chilled out’ wellness centre were given a VIP experience as it held its first open day.
The Chill Out Centre in Stanway hosted the event and welcomed nearly 100 guests to its new home at Beacon End Coach House.
Among the guests attending on the day were councillors Sue Lissimore for Prettygate, Tracy Arnold and Lesley Scott-Boutell for Stanway, each of whom had the chance to learn more about the range of treatments available at the centre and meet the therapists.
The Chill Out Centre offers massage, reflexology and facials as well as talk, energy and sound therapies to combat stress and support those with mental health and neurodiverse conditions.
Launched by Amanda Green, the centre says it provides a space for clients to feel safe and experience calm, soothing therapies.
Mrs Green has been a therapist for more than ten years and says she has developed a love for complementary therapies with a specialism in providing treatments for those affected by cancer or those with other special requirements.
After developing a menu of treatments and clients, Mrs Green opened The Chill Out Centre, which is based off Barn Fields, London Road in Stanway, in August.
There is now a team of therapists and practitioners working there.
Mrs Green said: “It was great to welcome so many people to our new centre at Beacon End Coach House.
“The Chill Out Centre really is a unique and special place, so we love to have the chance to share what we do with new friends.
“Over my last ten years as a therapist, I noticed that clients affected by cancer didn’t have access to treatments and therapies at a time when they most needed a bit of care and pampering.
“Through The Chill Out Centre we now offer therapies and treatments that cancer patients can enjoy in the care of our highly-skilled, professional therapists and practitioners.”
