Christmas Day is just around the corner now, and some people may be wondering what the forecast will be for it in Colchester.
With Colchester seeing snowfall in the last week, the question might arise of if that might create a chance of a 'White Christmas' in the area.
Whether you are dreaming or dreading snowflakes on the big day, here is what the BBC and the Met Office are currently forecasting.
Met Office Colchester Christmas Day forecast
At the time of writing the Met Office has predicted a largely mild and cloudy Christmas Day for Colchester, with little chance of snow.
Temperatures will stay between 8C-6C and it will remain consistently cloudy throughout.

BBC Weather Colchester Christmas Day forecast
The BBC Weather forecast predicts a very similar forecast to the Met Office for Southampton on Christmas Day.
The chance of rain fluctuates between its lowest at 15% at 12pm and its highest at 24% between 6pm and 7pm.
Like the Met Office forecast, it predicts the temperatures will stay between 8C-6C, therefore ruling out the chance of it being cold enough for snow to settle.
