A THIEF who stole more than £400 worth of food from a Colchester Co-op has been ordered to pay it all back.
Benjamin Jones, 41, snatched goods from the supermarket four times between December 28 and 29 last year.
He also carried out thefts at the shop in Colchester twice in November and once in October.
Colchester Magistrates’ Court heard the total value of the goods Jones stole was at least £414.27.
Jones, of Avon Way, Colchester, admitted seven counts of theft.
He was ordered to pay £414.27 in compensation and a £154 surcharge.
