Police are appealing for witnesses and information in connection to a robbery at a shop in Colchester.
It was reported that a man entered a shop in Military Road shortly before 5.30pm on Friday January 13 and threatened the staff with what is believed to be a metal pole being carried in a bin bag.
The man, wearing a red hoody and balaclava, left the store with cigarettes and more than £100 cash.
No one was injured.
