Officers investigating an assault in Witham have arrested three men.
Officers were called to Epping Way in Witham shortly after 1pm on Monday, (January 9) following reports of a man being seriously assaulted.
The victim, a 20-year-old man was taken to hospital with six stab wounds and a fractured leg.
The assault occurred next to an alleyway leading to Halcyon Close.
Two men aged 26 and a 28-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of GBH and have been released on bail until January 21.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "We continue to appeal for anyone who may have witnessed anything or have any further information to contact us.
"If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us.
