THE driver of a luxury car has been docked hundreds of pounds and had their licence endorsed with six penalty points after they were caught driving without insurance.
Hanru Liu, of Connaught Close, Colchester, was identified by police in August 2021 of driving an Infiniti on Cymbeline Way.
On Thursday, February 2, officials at North Essex Magistrates’ Court, Chelmsford, proved the case in Liu’s absence.
The 24-year-old was ordered to pay a total of £836, including a £660 fine, and given six penalty points on his driving licence.
