Scrolling through houses on Zoopla is a great pastime.
From looking over mansions to county estates and beach getaways to a cabin in the woods, there’s a dream home out there for every personality.
Whether you’re planning on buying or not, having a nosey at the houses is good fun.
If you were looking at what one of the most expensive ones is in the Colchester area then you would find a property on Myland Hall Chase with a valuation of £1m.
The house contains four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a double garage among other features.
At the time of writing, there is only one house in Colchester that is listed for a higher price on Zoopla.
Take a look inside the property
On its Zoopla page, it says: "Built in 2002, this exceptional family home is beautifully tucked away on leafy Myland Hall Chase.
"The property has been constantly improved and updated since it was first purchased to become the executive home it is today."
The house is set back from the road and is entered through double gates which lead to a large gravel drive and double garage.
Upon entering the property you'll come into the "spacious" hallway which opens up to all the main living areas.
The dual-aspect living room has a bright bay window which overlooks the driveway and features an electric fire.
From that room, you can access an office, and there are also doors out onto the rear garden.
Likewise, you can access the garden from the dining room, which is an ideal place for "entertaining family and friends".
The kitchen can also be found on the ground floor which is a "streamlined, contemporary hub" with plenty of space for food prep and dining.
From the kitchen, a door leads into an essential utility room, and from there into a family/playroom.
Upstairs you can find the four bedrooms of the property, with two of them having en-suites and the main bathroom.
Finally, there is the "beautifully landscaped garden" which contains decking, a pergola and two contemporary water features.
