PROFFESIONAL dancers from a famous television show are set to take to the stage of a city centre venue in aid of a life-saving organisation.
Strictly Air Ambulance will take place on March 25 at Charter Hall, in Cowdray Avenue, Colchester to raise vital funding for the Essex & Herts Air Ambulance.
The spectacular evening of dance and entertainment will star Pasha Kovalev and Chloe Hewitt from Strictly Come Dancing.
It will be hosted by charity patron and Celebrity MasterChef champion Lisa Snowdon alongside ITV Presenter David Whiteley.
Following the same format as the much-loved Saturday night programme, the show will see six couples give it their all on the dancefloor to impress a panel of judges.
A spokesman for the event said: “Expect glitz and glamour as the couples take to the floor with Latin and Ballroom routines.
“Only one will walk away with the glitter ball trophy and title of Strictly Air Ambulance Champions 2023.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy some dancing and entertainment whilst at the same time helping EHAAT continue its work to save lives across the region.”
After the dazzling spectacle guests will be able to attend an after-show party and rub shoulders with the stars of the show, enjoying a live DJ until 12.30am.
Tickets for the 6pm show start at £22.50 and can be purchased by visiting colchester-events.co.uk
