COLLEGE students in Colchester were invited to walk through a knife arch as part of a police scheme.
Officers from the city’s policing team paid a visit to Colchester Institute in Sheepen Road this morning.
A knife arch was put in place which students could voluntarily walk through if they chose.
It came as part of Essex Police’s Operation Jupiter which intends to prevent and detect crime.
Officers also work to reduce knife crime and safeguard vulnerable and young people.
