FIVE motorists have been issued a total of 32 points on their driving licences following collisions in Essex.
They were all found guilty of careless driving at Colchester Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, March 9.
The drivers received between three and ten penalty points and fined a total of £1,972 plus £1,339 worth of costs.
An Essex Police spokesman said: “We continue to work with our partners at Safer Essex Roads Partnership to aspire to Vision Zero.
“We’d ask the public to support us and play their part in helping us to keep our roads safe.”
