An award winner bar and restaurant in Colchester has launched an all-new series of menus.
The Church Street Tavern, which featured in our guide of best Colchester restaurants, has released its new daytime menu, including brunch dishes, small plates and sharing platters.
The contemporary bar and restaurant, located in the centre of Colchester, prides itself on being a hub for all occasions.
With 2 AA Rosettes and a Michelin Plate, Church Street Tavern has been consistently rated as one of the best places to eat in Colchester.
The venue offers a warm hospitality in an elegant, characterful setting, that bold designs and wonderful eclectic artwork by local Essex artists.
The new additions feature a brunch menu, available from 10.30am, which features French toast, honey and seasonal fruit, Dingley Dell bacon bap, or Ogleshield cheese and herb omelette, as well as daily specials.
The all new small plates menu will change seasonally, including a pork crouquette, celeriac remoulade, coppa ham and pickles, smoked kipper pate and crumpet; watercress, fennel and baked gnocchi, kale and walnut pesto and mozzarella with pickled walnuts.

The sharing platters include a seafood platter of cured and smoked seafood, with crab, oysters, bread, aioli, pickles as well as a grilled steak salad platter, with purple sprouting broccoli, chimichurri and skin on chips.
Brunch will be 10.30am to 2.30pm Wednesday to Saturday and Sunday till 12pm.
Lunch is from 12pm to 2.30pm Wednesday to Friday and 3pm Saturday and Sunday.
Dinner is served from 5.30pm to 9pm Wednesday and Thursday and 9.30pm Friday to Saturday.
