A MAN has been arrested after a 17-year-old boy suffered a broken leg in Castle Park.
Police officers are investigating an assault which left the teenager with the horror injury in Colchester.
It was reported the youngster was assaulted in Castle Park between 5.40pm and 6.10pm on Saturday.
Officers attended an address in West Mersea yesterday and arrested a 22-year-old man on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
He has been released on bail until May 25.
A police spokesman said: “If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us.
“Please quote the crime reference number 42/53912/23.”
