RESIDENTS were left delighted spotting a large heart in the skies of Colchester.
The symbol, created by a signwriting plane on Good Friday, was organised by the C3 Church.
The C3 Church took over an historic ex-military building in Colchester in 2021.

Formerly known as the Garrison gym, the building dates back to 1860 and was passed to Colchester Council from the Ministry of Defence 11 years ago to be preserved for the benefit of residents.
The church, which already has sites in Cambridge and Bury St Edmunds, hosted its first physical service at the premises on Good Friday two years ago.
There were also similar symbols created in Bury St Edmunds and Cambridge.
It is not the first time the symbol has appeared in the skies of Colchester, with the church using it to celebration Easter.
As well as the sky symbols, the church also hosted Easter fun days in each of the three locations.
A spokesman for the church said: "Thank you for joining us for Good Friday Fun and Sign in The Sky!
"We have loved hosting you in all our locations today on Good Friday."
