X FACTOR star Olly Murs has given an insight into his wedding plans... after shopping for suits at a Colchester shop.

Olly, of Witham, released new album Marry Me last year, which received rave reviews from critics and became number one on UK Album Charts.

Olly said his fiancee Amelia Tank became an inspiration for the album and made the songwriter continue his career.

He said: "Amelia has inspired the new album but it's from my perspective.

"In ten years, I’d like to be able to look back and go 'I remember when I did that album, that was when we were getting married'.

"Hopefully, we’ll have kids one day, and maybe our kids can look back at it. That gives me an amazing feeling."

Olly is set to marry Amelia later this year and recently was seen suit shopping in Colchester. 

In an interview with Heart Bingo, the singer spoke about proposing to his fiancee during a romantic holiday earlier this year.

He also said he is hoping fellow The Voice judge Sir Tom Jones might sing on the big day.

Speaking about his forthcoming wedding, he said: "If I had to pick someone from the judges to sing at my wedding, it would be Sir Tom Jones.

"In fact, maybe I could get him to sing at the wedding. He’s just a legend."
