TRAFFIC chaos is building in Colchester due to temporary traffic lights on a main road.
There are currently works ongoing on Ipswich Road by St John's Church.
As a result, traffic is very slow in and around the area.
According to AA Travel News, there is "slow traffic on A1232 Ipswich Road both ways at Ipswich Road."
"This is due to the temporary lights."

Traffic is slow all along Ipswich Road, leading back to the Rovers Tye roundabout and also up towards the A12.
Traffic is also building on Severalls Lane and into the Colchester business park.
Due to some drivers attempting to divert, there are also queues around the Highwoods area.
