FORMER Colchester United defender Matt Briggs has returned to Fulham as the club's Academy player care mentor.
Briggs, who made made 65 league and cup appearances for Colchester after joining them in January 2015, initially on loan, is now back at Craven Cottage, where he came through the academy ranks.

The former left-back, who left Colchester in 2017, became the youngest player to play in the Premier League in May 2007 when he represented Fulham at the age of 16 years and 68 days.
In his new role with the Premier League club, the 32-year-old former Guyana international will provide holistic support off the pitch for young players.
