COLCHESTER United will continue discussions with their playing squad today, with plenty of change expected at the JobServe Community Stadium this summer.
The U’s have up to 14 senior professionals due to be out of contract, although the club do have options to extend some of the deals.
Samson Tovide, Ossama Ashley, Marley Marshall Miranda, Al-Amin Kazeem and Jayden Fevrier are all due to see their current contracts expire.
However, they are expected to be offered new terms by the U’s, as is young goalkeeper Ted Collins.
All five youngsters have featured regularly for Colchester, this season.

The future of some of the U’s more senior professionals who are out of contract this summer is not as clear, though.
Vastly experienced duo Cole Skuse and Luke Chambers find themselves at a crossroads, after two years at the U’s.
The pair, who are both aged 37, have had magnificent professional careers but their future at Colchester is uncertain as is that of striker Freddie Sears, who has struggled for game time at the JobServe Community Stadium this season.
Club captain Tommy Smith has found himself out of favour since Ben Garner’s arrival as head coach and with his game time limited, is unlikely to be a Colchester player next season.

Emyr Huws, 29, whose appearances have been limited this season and Alan Judge, 34, who suffered a serious knee injury in the U’s 1-0 defeat at Sutton United last December, are both expected to depart at the expiry of their contracts.
“We’re making decisions on players that are out of contract,” said Garner.
“We’ll also have meetings with all the players who are in contract, just in terms of setting them targets for next season now and what we’re looking to build and do next season so that they can come back on the first day of pre-season and do the fitness testing and then the first day of proper pre-season training ready to go, ready to work and ready to push on.
"We've had some of the meetings already as some players are going away, because the (Mansfield) game was originally on the Saturday.
"By Wednesday, I'll have had a good chat with everyone, whether they are in or out of contract, whatever their situation is."
Long-serving defender Tom Eastman, who is spent the second half of this season on loan at the U’s League Two rivals Harrogate Town, along with Luke Hannant and Ryan Clampin, who have been on loan at Scottish Championship side Dundee, will also see their present deals expire this summer.
Goalkeeper Kieran O’Hara, who has played 31 times for the U’s this season, will also see his contract end and will soon learn if he is to be offered a new deal.

Youngsters Chay Cooper, who is due to play in the National League South play-off final with loan club St Albans City this weekend, Harvey Sayer, Billy Cracknell, Harry Beadle, Donell Thomas, Frankie Terry, Kaan Bennett, Jake Hutchinson and Bradley Ihionvien are also set to be informed about their futures, with their current deals due to expire, this summer.
“It’s going to be a busy summer,” said Garner.
“We’re working hard on recruitment and we’ve already started that process.”
Junior Tchamadeu, Noah Chilvers, Sam Hornby, Will Greenidge, Fiacre Kelleher, Connor Hall, Arthur Read, Alex Newby, Matt Jay, John Akinde, Tom Hopper and Tom Dallison are all contracted for the club, for next season.
However, the U’s are readying themselves for interest in Tchamadeu, who was named the club’s Player of the Season yesterday and Chilvers, who finished as Colchester’s top scorer, this season.
Connor Wood (Leyton Orient), Kwesi Appiah (Crawley Town) and Tom Smith (Arsenal) will all return to their respective loan clubs, after their loan spells at the JobServe Community Stadium expired.
