MORRIS dancers are set to mark their 70th anniversary by performing twice this weekend.
Colchester Morris Men will be giving two dancing displays on Saturday to mark the milestone date.
There will be a performance at 11am in Lion Walk Square before another in Castle Park at 12.30pm.
The dancers’ packed programme for this year will see them give 17 displays at various locations across Colchester.
A further two full days in Thaxted for a national gathering of morris dancers and a tour in Suffolk are also due to follow.
