A FARE dodging train passenger has been fined for failing to pay for a ticket.
Martin Morris, 46, was travelling between Colchester and London Liverpool Street on November 23 last year when he was caught.
Westminster Magistrates’ Court heard he boarded a Greater Anglia train without paying the applicable fare.
The offence was proven in Morris’ absence from the court hearing.
Morris, of Hackney Road, east London, was ordered to pay £408.80 in costs, surcharge and compensation by May 31.
