ROBBIE Cowling says selling more season tickets will help Colchester United in their bid to compete at the top of League Two next season.

The U's have announced their ticket prices for the 2023-24 campaign, at the JobServe Community Stadium.

Supporters can now secure their seat for next season, with some prices increasing from this season but discounted prices on offer to those who buy early.

Mr Cowling says Colchester have done their best to apply sensible prices for next season, while still planning a competitive budget for the first team.

The U's chairman and owner has thanked fans for their support - and is hopeful that the club will be challenging at the right end of the table under Ben Garner, next time around.

Gazette:

Mr Cowling told the U's website: “I would like to express my gratitude to the Colchester United fans for their support over the past few seasons, despite the difficulty in earning points.

“Unfortunately, I cannot guarantee that the upcoming season will be any less challenging, but rest assured, we are doing everything we can to make the 2023/24 campaign more productive.

“We have every reason to believe that we will be battling at the top of the league rather than the bottom - and selling more season tickets, especially early on, will assist us in achieving that goal.”

Colchester supporters can secure their season-ticket for next season at an Early Bird price, until the end of June.

Gazette:

Early Bird prices in the South Stand equate to adults paying the equivalent of less than £15 a match.

That figure comes down to just over £8 a match for spectators under the age of 18.

In the East Stand, two under-11 children will once again be admitted for free with a paying adult, while an under-14 season-ticket is available for as little as £80.

Colchester have also confirmed that the pay monthly option will continue to be available on season tickets, next season.

Match Credits will work exactly the same as they did in the 2022-23 campaign.
