MCDONALD'S is giving thousands of fans free chicken nuggets to mark a special occasion.
The giveaway comes as the fast food chain’s iconic McNugget celebrates its 40th birthday.
McDonald’s will be handing out 50,000 boxes of six to those who download its app and enter the competition.
The first 50,000 entrants to the competition will receive 4,000 reward points, which can be exchanged for six McNuggets.
Already live, the competition will close on May 23.
And those living in Colchester are spoilt for choice when it comes from venues to collect their prize from.
McDonald’s latest restaurant in the city opened in Turner Rise Retail Park, following sites at Cuckoo Farm, Tollgate, Cowdray Avenue and Colchester High Street.
