Colchester Rotary Club is holding its annual duck race during the Hospital Radio Family Fun Day at Colchester's Castle Park.

The family fun day will take place on Monday, May 29, from 11am until 4pm.

This year, a fruitful pool of £500 will be divided between the first three winners with first place receiving £250, second £150 and third £100.

The money raised through the race will go towards The Tom Bowdidge Youth Cancer Foundation, which was back founded in 2014.

The charity is named in memory of a teenager who died of a Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumour and extensive peritoneal disease in October 2013, at the age of 19.
