SHOPPERS flocked to a popular Colchester boutique over the weekend after it was re-launched under new ownership.
Frippery, in Sir Isaac’s Walk, Colchester, has been re-opened after being taken over by sisters Samantha Godden-Wood and Sophie Singh.
Sam, a former Vogue model who loves fashion and had worked with Frippery in the past, was keen to take it over when hearing it could close for good.
Since taking over the reigns sisters Sam and Sophie have fittingly renamed the shop Frippery Sisters.

The quaint store will sell women’s clothing and accessories, as well as candles, homeware and more.
In celebration of it being saved from closure, Frippery Sisters officially reopened on Saturday, much to the delight of customers who flocked to the store.
She said: “The opening was fantastic. We couldn’t have wished for it to be any better.
“From the moment we opened the door to when we closed it was constantly busy.
“We had so much support from regular customers, new customers, friends and family, as well as other shops in town.
“We had so many bouquets of flowers it looked like a florist, and we even had to do a second champagne run as because of how many people turned up.”
