A POPULAR boutique in Colchester’s city centre has opened under new management… and it looks fabulous.
Frippery, in Sir Isaac’s Walk, is a niche but hugely popular store with residents.
With fears it was due to close, sisters Samantha Godden-Wood and Sophie Singh decided to take the leap and take it over.
Sam, a former Vogue model who loves fashion and had worked with Frippery in the past, was keen to take it over when hearing it could close for good.
Since then Sam and Sophie have fittingly renamed the shop Frippery Sisters.
The quaint store will sell women’s clothing and accessories, as well as candles, homeware and more.
In celebration of it being saved from closure, Frippery Sisters officially opened on Saturday, much to the delight of customers who flocked to the store.
She said: “The opening was fantastic. We couldn’t have wished for it to be any better.
