TRAFFIC is building on one of Colchester's main roads following the installation of temporary traffic lights
Motorists using Ipwich Road are facing delays today as a result of ongoing roadworks close to the Premier convenience shop.
According to Essex Highways, the congestion is being caused by "ongoing traffic signal works" in the area.

Concerns have now been raised over the impact the roadworks might have during rush hour, not least on drivers travelling between the St Andrew's and Ipswich Road roundabouts.
An Essex Highways spokesperson said: "For the safety of all road users, these temporary works are taking place to replace traffic signals on Ipswich Road."
