COLCHESTER United have announced four pre-season friendlies for next month.
The U's will kick-off their pre-season games on Saturday July 15, with a trip to play National League outfit Ebbsfleet United.
Colchester will then host League One team Peterborough United seven days later at the JobServe Community Stadium, on Saturday, July 22 (3pm).
The game could see former Colchester favourites Frankie Kent and Kwame Poku return to their old club.

The U's will follow that up with a game against West Ham United under-21s on Friday, July 28, kick-off 7.30pm, in a game to be played at Maldon and Tiptree FC.

And newly-promoted League One side Leyton Orient will be the visitors to the JobServe Community Stadium on Saturday, July 29, kick-off 3pm.

The League Two fixture list for the 2023-24 season will be released on Thursday, June 22 at 9am.
Colchester will kick-off the new League Two season on August 5.
