FORMER Colchester United goalkeeper Tom Smith has been released by Premier League club Arsenal.
Smith, who spent the second half of last season on loan at the U's, is one of 13 players the Gunners have confirmed will leave the club when their contracts expire this summer.
The 21-year-old made six appearances for Colchester towards the end of last season, helping Ben Garner's side stay in League Two.
Our thanks and best wishes go out to every player leaving us this month.
