A ONE-DAY event dubbed “Essex’s version” of a long-running annual home show is coming to Colchester.

The Essex Property Show is heading to Colchester’s Charter Hall next month.

The brand new event has been organised by Colchester-based, mother-and-daughter co-directed estate agency, Belhus Properties, and is inspired by the Ideal Home Show.

Billed as the ultimate home and lifestyle show, the event will bring a variety of industry experts and businesses together under one roof to offer insider knowledge and advice on all things related to buying, selling, owning and renting property.

It features an all-day programme of live talks and demonstrations from industry experts who will provide knowledge and fresh perspectives on the property industry.

Topics covered include mortgage and legal advice, property investment strategies from leaders in the industry, property auction tips, home staging and organisation ideas, eco-friendly home guidance, interior design inspiration and much more.

An array of stalls from businesses will also be on hand to offer a diverse home shopping experience for those looking to transform their house and garden.

These include Cinema Rooms, Harvey Alexander Flooring, My Claybrick Home, Timeless Furniture, Harmony Landscapes, Thyme and Place Kitchens and more to be announced soon.

Event organiser Lydia Adams said: “The Essex Property Show is all about bringing the community together.

“It is a place where anyone who needs advice, information, or is simply interested in making their house a home can go to for ideas and inspiration. 

“We’ve been overwhelmed with the local support we have received. So many people travel all the way to London for a show like this, but we are excited to be bringing it to Essex.

“There is something for everyone, it will be a great day out, whether you are looking for advice on anything property related, or just want to shop and gain inspiration for your home, this is the event for you.”

Colchester Food Bank will also be collecting donations on the day. 

The Essex Property Show takes place from 10am to 4pm on Sunday July 16.
