LUKE Norris looks set to line up against his former club Colchester United again, this season.
The ex-U's striker has joined Tranmere Rovers, after leaving Stevenage at the end of the 2022-23 campaign.
Norris, 33, who has signed a one-year contract at Prenton Park, made 96 appearances during his time at Colchester, scoring 23 goals.

Norris told the Tranmere website: “It feels really good.
"I’m really excited to get going.
"I had a few conversations with the staff around the club's plans, and having been part of a promotion-chasing side last year, it certainly has a similar feel.

"Speaking to the gaffer and the team here about what I can do, and seeing the fantastic facilities and the support the club gets, I thought, ‘I definitely want to be a part of that'.

Norris joined Colchester from Swindon Town in the summer of 2018 for an undisclosed fee.
He spent two and a half years with the U's before joining Stevenage in January, 2021.

Norris won Stevenage’s Player of the Year award in 2021/22 after scoring 15 goals in all competitions.
He followed that up with 14 goals in the 2022/23 season, helping Boro gain automatic promotion to League One.
