COLCHESTER United's sports scientist and fitness coach Michael Amoah has left the club to link up again with Matt Bloomfield at Wycombe Wanderers.

Amoah arrived at the U's last season, shortly after Bloomfield's appointment as the club's head coach.

But he has now left the JobServe Community Stadium to take over as Lead Physical Performance Coach, at the League One club.

Amoah will team up with Ben Sayers to oversee the sports science and fitness operation at Wycombe.
