TASTE-testing foodies descended on Colchester Castle Park to gobble up some delicious culinary delights.

The joyous extravaganza saw guests sample mouth-watering bites to eat from a range of stalls while also gulping down a whole host of thirst-quenching beverages.  

The weekend-long festival presented a range of stalls, bars, vans and much more with unique flavours.

For those keen on seeing how the wonderful grub they were purchasing is prepared, there were also live demonstrations led by experienced and talented chefs.

Chef Hurd is well known for his being a regular contributor to the BBC’s Saturday Kitchen and he has worked alongside Jamie Oliver, Gennaro Contaldo, Francesco Mazzei, and Antonio Carluccio.

The festival will continue tomorrow, giving residents the last opportunity to try mouth-watering culinary delights.
