A hearing for two men accused of attempted murder following a stabbing in Colchester in March has been adjourned until next week 

Before Ipswich Crown Court on Thursday were Joseph Little, 18, of St Mary’s Close, Panfield, near Braintree and Zac Henry, 18 of Maple Court, Cambridge.

They are both accused of attempted murder.

Little is also accused of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, criminal damage and affray. 

Officers were called to Magdalen Street at around 11pm on March 31 following reports of a man sustaining stab wounds.

A further case management hearing will take place on July 7 and Henry and Little's trial, which is expected to last seven days, has been listed on September 25.

The defendants are both in custody.
