A RECKLESS parent endangered their child’s life after stopping on the central reservation of a major road to let them go to the toilet.
The Volkswagen Golf was spotted by Essex Police’s Roads Policing unit on the A12 at Feering.
The car was parked next to the right-hand lane on the central reservation of the busy route.
A police Tweet said: “Once moved to a safer location, it was established they'd stopped to allow their child to go to the toilet.
“[The] services were a few hundred yards away. Never safe to stop in central reservation.”
