A TEENAGER armed with a craft knife at Colchester North railway station must undertake unpaid work.
Ewan Sturrock, 18, was found to be unlawfully in possession of the blade at the station on April 26.
Sturrock, of Berrimans Close, Colchester admitted the offence and was handed a community order.
He must undertake 300 hours of unpaid work within one year and 20 days of a rehabilitation activity requirement.
Sturrock must pay £259 in costs and a victim surcharge to the court.
The blade is to be destroyed in due course.
