A CRIMINAL who failed to turn up to his unpaid work has been fined.
William Atkins, 27, was handed a community order in January at Colchester Magistrates’ Court.
But he failed to adhere to its requirements when he failed to attend unpaid work on February 25 and March 4.
The same court heard he did not give a “reasonable excuse” for his absence on either occasion.
Atkins, of Buckingham Drive, Colchester, admitted the breach and was fined £80. He must also pay costs of £60.
The order continues.
