POLICE officers are at the scene of an incident in Tiptree where it is understood a man has been seriously injured.
Forensic officers are probing a bus stop on the village green, opposite the Shell garage, on the B1022.
The Gazette understands a man was seriously injured in an incident at about 3pm today.

A road closure is in place between the mini roundabout at The Original Factory Shop and Shell.
Officers have put a partial cordon in place on the village green with constables at the scene.
Tiptree councillor Paul Dundas said he is "very shocked" to hear of the incident.
He added: "[It is] important police are allowed to do their job without speculation."

The officers have been seen reassuring residents who have gathered near the cordon.
Essex Police has been contacted for comment.
