A ROAD raging driver who brake-checked another motorist on the A12 has been handed nine penalty points.
Glen Walker, of Broadlands Way, Colchester, flashed his lights at the other vehicle before overtaking it and slamming his brakes on New Year's Day.
Southend Magistrates’ Court heard Walker’s reckless driving caused a crash and damage to the front of the victim’s car on the A12 at Colchester.
An offence of driving without due care and attention was proved in Walker’s absence from court.
The 29-year-old was ordered to pay £1,034 in costs, surcharge and a fine.
He was handed nine penalty points.
