A TEENAGE boy was hospitalised following a group assault in Colchester after he was confronted by other young people.
Officers were called to the scene in Old Heath Rec, Colchester, shortly after 7pm on Friday, July 21.
Enquiries established the group confronted the boy and during an altercation, the victim sustained a wound to his arm which is not thought to be life-threatening.
He was taken to hospital for treatment, no arrests have been made and police enquiries are ongoing.

A spokesman for Essex police said: “We’re urging anyone with information on the incident to come forward and speak to us.

“Alternatively, you can call us on 101.
“Please cite incident 1303 of 21 July.”
