The following roads are scheduled to close for multiple days to allow for roadworks to be completed.
- An order is in place to temporarily close that length of Brent Hall Road, Finchingfield in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 33m west of its junction with The Chase for a distance of approximately 35m in a westerly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on August 21 for five days.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
- Vicarage Avenue in White Notley will be temporarily closed from a point approximately 140m north east of its junction with Church Hill for a distance of approximately 50m in a north easterly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on August 21 for five days.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
- An order is in place to temporarily close that length of Mayland Green, Mayland in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Whitefield Court for a distance of approximately 30m in a south easterly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on August 21 for five days.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while site clearance works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
- Sheepcoates Lane in Great Totham will be temporarily closed from its junction with Church Lane for a distance of approximately 560m in a northerly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on August 7 for five days.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains renewal and reinstatement works are undertaken by Essex and Suffolk Water.
- An order is in place to temporarily close that length of Old House Road, Great Horkesley in the City of Colchester, from its junction with Coach Road to its junction with The Causeway a distance of approximately 1205m.
The closure is scheduled to commence on August 7 for nine days.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
- An order is in place to temporarily close that length of Wick Road, Boxted in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Skye Hall Road north east to the Suffolk Border, a distance of approximately 40m.
The closure is scheduled to continue from July 20 for 527 days, or where stated on a valid permit.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while structural damage works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
- An order is in place to introduce a no waiting at any time restriction at the High Street North and Mersea Avenue junction and the area on the opposite side of the junction at the St Peters Road and New Captains Road junction.
The single yellow line restriction will be revoked and replaced with double yellow lines at the High Street North and Firs Chase junction and the area on the opposite side of the junction.
- The Heath in Dedham will be temporarily closed from a point approximately 50m north west of its junction with Long Road East for a distance of approximately 20m in a north westerly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on August 21 for 10 days.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while maintenance and repair works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
- An order is in place to temporarily close that length of Church Road, Layer-de-la-Haye in the City of Colchester, from its junction with Waterworks Close for a distance of approximately 40m in a south westerly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on August 11 for eight days.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains renewal and reinstatement works are undertaken by Essex and Suffolk Water.
- Colchester Road in Wakes Colne will be temporarily closed from a point approximately 100m south west of its junction with the A1124 for a distance of approximately 50m in a south westerly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on August 7 for five days.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains fitting works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
- An order is in place to temporarily close that length of Fingringhoe Road, Rowhedge in the City of Colchester, from its junction with Speedwell Road to its junction with Chapel Road a distance of approximately 2700m.
The closure is scheduled to commence on August 7 for five days.
