TATTOO enthusiasts are expected to flock to a Colchester studio to get inked while making a difference in the lives of those in need.

Black Hope Tattoo, in Trinity Street, Colchester, will be holding its fourth annual charity day on Saturday where clients will have the chance to get a pre-drawn tattoo at an affordable price.

The talented tattoo artists will be generously giving up their time and expertise to raise vital funds for two good causes.

It’s expected to be a busy day, following on from the success of last year’s event which saw the team do 81 tattoos between them, raising more than £4,500.

This year’s event, which starts at 9am, will support MS-UK, a national charity based in Colchester which supports people living with multiple sclerosis, and the Anti Loo Roll Brigade which supports people across Colchester through hardship.

Lucy King, who is MS-UK’s senior community fundraiser, said: “We are so grateful to be one of the charities supported by Black Hope this year at their charity day.

“MS-UK is a totally independent charity, meaning we rely on fundraising events and donations to allow us to continue the vital work that we do for the MS community.”
