A POPULAR beauty guru with millions of followers took over a Colchester salon to share an important message as she launched an exciting new partnership.

Sophie Hannah, who has more than 3.5million followers across Instagram and TikTok, visited Faces Hair and Beauty in Colchester city centre to give away free hair transformations, highlighting that you can rock whatever colour you want.

Using her own brand of hair colour, Sophie Hannah Hair, the influencer dyed the hair of people wanting to feel more confident with daring shades.

From strawberry reds to kiwi greens, different hair types were transformed.

Sophie said: “I was so excited to be able to do this. I’ve been dying my hair for almost 15 years and being able to transform my hair colour has given me confidence in all aspects of my life.

“I wanted to be able to show others what this feels like and help them step out of their comfort zone when it came to their hair colour.”

She hopes to continue working with the salon to offer free hair colouring slots every month, which she eventually hopes to branch out across the UK.

Over the last seven years, some of her work has gone viral on Instagram and TikTok, with her Avatar recreation being featured on the likes of Good Morning America.

Sophie continues to be an advocate for so many people to break the beauty “norm” and step outside of their comfort zone.

In 2021, she launched her own vegan and cruelty-free hair dye brand, which has received two nominations in this year’s Great British Entrepreneur Awards.

Her product range consists of several products and colours, including strawberry red, wild orange and even kiwi green.
