A WOMAN who was found to be on a class A drug whilst behind the wheel of her car has been banned from driving and fined more than £100.
Andrea Clarke, of Suffolk Road, Colchester, appeared before officials at Colchester Magistrates' Court late last month where she admitted to being under the influence of cocaine whilst driving her Nissan Leaf in Barrack Street.
The offence had originally taken place in February.
Sentencing the 44-year-old, magistrates banned Clarke from holding a driving licence for 18 months and fined her £120.
Clarke must also undergo rehabilitation requirements, which will be supervised by North Essex magistrates court.
