ROAD works on a major road have been cancelled this weekend due to warnings of bad weather.
Following a forecast for heavy rain, the planned A12 roadworks between Junction 25 and Junction 26 have been cancelled this Saturday and Sunday.
The works were due to take place on the A12's northbound carriageway between Marks Tey and Stanway.

The National Highways had planned the back-to-back weekend closures so engineers could continue with a £37 million project.
The scheme will see the old concrete road surface of the A12 between Marks Tey and Stanway replaced with a new asphalt finish.
The final weekend closure of the junction is scheduled to take place from September 1 until September 4.
The same closure is scheduled to be in place next weekend as well.
The revitalised road is expected to be open to traffic from spring of next year.
