POLICE officers swooped on a property in Colchester amid an investigation into a disturbance.
Officers were called to reports of a disturbance in the Oakwood Avenue area of West Mersea at about 12.30pm on Tuesday.
Their investigation then led them to an address in Queen Mary Avenue, Colchester.
An Essex Police spokesman did not confirm what the disturbance was but said inquiries are ongoing.
“If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us,” he added.
An eyewitness told the Gazette he saw a police van “shooting past me” towards West Mersea before returning back towards the city centre a short while later.
He said one police car blocked Queen Mary Avenue while the van went down an access road next to a property.
Anyone with any information should call the police and quote crime reference number 42/141933/23.
