HOSPITAL bosses have disputed claims they are suffering from a shortage of crutches.
Colchester Hospital, in Turner Road, has shut down reports it is in need of crutches.
It comes after an appeal was launched on social media by a woman asking for crutches for the facility.
She claimed the hospital was feeling the impact of national supply chain issues regarding the production of crutches.
Bosses at the site, however, have now told the Gazette they do not have a shortage of crutches.
