A GLOBAL community which aims to unite, educate and empower women in business is set to host a soft launch event next month.

ProspHER is invting the women of Wivenhoe and beyond to a social event on September 12 which will centre around supporting and empowering women in the business world.

The event, held at Wivenhoe House, aims to promote gender equality in a positive, uplifting and celebratory atmosphere which champions local businesses.

A spokesman for ProspHER said: “ProspHER aims to unite, educate and empower women to progress their businesses, careers and lives, in a supportive and inclusive environment.

“The ProspHER events are a celebration of equality and diversity, supporting women to develop personally and professionally; while celebrating women in business, those who are wanting to level up in their current roles, and who are on the journey to find the career of their dreams.”

The group will also hold its ProspHER Fest on November 7, which will include keynote speakers, fireside chats, panel discussions, workshops, networking, mentoring, help and advice.
