A COLCHESTER business has been fined more than £1,000 after failing to hand over details about a BMW driver who was believed to have been guilty of an offence.
MSX International, which is based in Middleborough, Colchester, faced the charge after a vehicle-related incident in a village called Treforest, near Pontypridd, Wales.
Details of the incident, which took place in April, have not been specified in court papers, but South Wales Police did notify MSX International they were requiring information regarding the incident.
However, MSX International did not pass on the information as requested, and a representative for the company admitted the offence to magistrates at Cardiff Magistrates' Court.
The company, which specialises in business management consultancy, has been fined £660, must pay costs of £110, and is also required to pay a £266.
It means the business must pay out a total of £1,036.
