A MOTORIST caught driving an Audi without insurance has been handed a hefty fine.
Oluwafisayo Akardi was seen driving the black Audi A5 in Coggeshall Road, Braintree, on March 31 last year.
The 33-year-old admitted driving the vehicle without insurance when he appeared before Colchester Magistrates’ Court.
Akardi, of Porter Drive, Colchester, was fined £830 for the offence and must pay a further £173 in a surcharge and costs to the court.
His driving licence was endorsed with six points.
