A LEARNER caught driving without displaying L plates has been disqualified from the roads.
Drew Henneby, 30, was caught driving a Ford Focus without insurance on September 9 last year.
The offence took place at 11.54am in Glen Avenue, Colchester.
Henneby, of De Grey Road, Colchester, was driving alone at the time without displaying L plates, despite only possessing a provisional driving licence.
The offences were proved via the single justice procedure at Colchester Magistrates’ Court.
Henneby was disqualified from driving for nine months and ordered to pay £1,322 in a fine, surcharge and costs to the court.
